Andy welcomed his first gamekeeper’s dog for training at age 12, started competing at 14, and never slowed down. Multiple trial victories, judging invitations and field-trial steward roles followed, sharpening an eye for microscopic detail. Today, Andy channels that precision into protection work—competing in IGP (tracking, obedience, defence) and designing our “guard on command, cuddle on command” curriculum. A student of canine psychology, he balances high drive with rock-solid nerve, translating complex behaviour science into simple, repeatable commands for every owner.

Born on a British-Army base and raised among working dogs, Charlie trained his first spaniel while still at university. That “side project” became Mordor Gundogs—now 12 generations deep, supplying impeccably mannered gundogs and family companions to clients on five continents. Charlie’s blend of field craft and business acumen drives Guardian Angles’ white-glove service: VIP-ready logistics, crate-calming flight protocols, and iron-clad legal paperwork from Knightsbridge to the Hamptons to the Emirates. When he isn’t shaping strategy, he is on the phone with clients, ensuring every hand-over feels as effortless as it is extraordinary.

Master Trainer & Operational Lead

With more than 40 years in canine sports, Jim twice represented Scotland at the British Gundog Championship before pivoting to full-time K9 security a decade ago. He has trained IPO dogs in the sport, prepared estate-patrol teams and supplied family-protector Shepherds to ex-military officers, public figures and at-risk households. Jim is the architect of our real-world scenario training; car-jacking drills, night-time perimeter sweeps, child-hand-over protocols. This ensures each dog’s instincts are reliable under pressure yet gentle in the playroom. His favourite moment is still the final hand-over: the instant a client realises life just became safer and richer.
